DAY 01 – ARRIVAL at KLIA / KUALA LUMPUR

Upon arrival at KLIA Airport, you will meet Oscar Holidays representative and proceed to check-in to Hotel in KL. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

DAY 02 – CITY TOUR OF KUALA LUMPUR

After Breakfast at hotel, Proceed with half day city tour of Kuala Lumpur. About Kuala Lumpur: Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. Its modern skyline is dominated by the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs. The towers also offer a public skybridge and observation deck. The city is also home to British colonial-era landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. You will be visiting below attractions (Entrance tickets not Included). • Kings Palace (Photo Stop) • National Mosque (Photo Stop) • National Monument (Photo Stop) • Petronas Twin Towers (Photo Stop) • KL Tower Observation Deck (Photo Stop) After City Tour ok KL, Proceed for visit to Fireflies at Kuala Selangor with En-route visit to Batu Caves. After City Tour ok KL, Proceed for visit to Fireflies at Kuala Selangor with En-route visit to Batu Caves. Evening excursion to see Fireflies on Boat Tour & Silver Leaf Monkeys - It is one of two places in the world - the other being along the Amazon River in Brazil - where millions of fireflies can be seen to flash their "lights". The location along the Selangor River in Kampung Kuantan is special because it is easily accessible whereas the one along the Amazon is not. The fireflies congregate on trees, which is reachable by a short sampan (traditional boat) ride. En route visit to see friendly creatures of Silver Leaf Monkey at Bukit Melawati. En Route visit to Batu Caves; About Batu caves: The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old. Some of the cave entrances were used as shelters by the indigenous Temuan people (a tribe of Orang Asli). The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia. Dinner at Seafood Restaurant in Kuala Selangor & Overnight stay at Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

DAY 03 – KUALA LUMPUR TO KUCHING

After breakfast at Hotel proceed to Airport to board flight to Kuching. (Own arrangement/Not included in package). On Arrival at Kuching Airport, you will meet & greet Oscar Holidays representative and transfer to hotel in Kuching. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay at hotel in Kuching.

DAY 04 – KUCHING CITY TOUR

After Breakfast at Hotel, Proceed with morning tour of the sights of Kuching City - purported to be the cleanest city in Malaysia. Discover the charms of the city, as well as spending some time uncovering the past and pondering the future at the world-famous Sarawak Museum, completed in 1891, which is definitely one of the best museums in the whole of South-East Asia. In the city centre, see buildings dating back to the time of the white Rajahs, ancient Chinese temples and colourful markets displaying the produce which first brought the traders to Borneo. At the conclusion of the tour, you will return to the hotel. Afternoon at your leisure to look for local handicrafts and artefacts in the traders' street known as Main Bazaar near the Sarawak River waterfront. (No entrance tickets included). Overnight stay in Kuching City.

DAY 05 – NATIONAL PARK BAKO

After breakfast at Hotel, Proceed to Bako National Park in Kuching Division, Sarawak. Established in 1957, it is the oldest national park in Sarawak. It covers an area of 27.27 square Kms, at the tip of the Muara Tebas peninsula at the mouth of the Bako and Kuching Rivers. Spend a full day visiting Sarawak's oldest National Park at Bako. Drive about 35 minutes to Bako Village. From the village, take a 25-minute boat ride (depending on the tide) to the park situated in a peninsula. Bako is one of the best places in Sarawak to see wildlife in natural surroundings. The various types of animals which are commonly spotted at Bako include the proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, long tail macaques, wild boars, monitor lizards, and numerous species of birds. Tropical Rainforest ranges from mangrove to kerangas (heath forest), tropical swamp vegetation, cliff vegetation and beach vegetation. There are several trails inside the park depending on level of fitness and interest. There is a possibility to swim in the warm waters of the South China Sea by one of the secluded beaches. Return to Kuching mid to late afternoon. (Lunch included) Overnight stay at Kuching Hotel.

DAY 06 – MULU CAVES

Breakfast at Hotel and transfer to the airport to board flight (Own arrangements / Not included in package) to Mulu Airport. On arrival in Mulu, you will be meet our representative and transfer to hotel. In the Afternoon, depart for a three KM plank walk to Deer Cave and Lang Cave. Late afternoon, observe the millions of bats coming out from the vast mouth of the Deer Cave which will be a memorable occurrence (Only during fine weather). Overnight stay at Mullu Marriot Hotel.

DAY 07 – MULU NATIONAL PARK / WIND & CLEARWATER CAVES / PENAN SETTLEMENT / DEPARTURE

After breakfast at Hotel, depart by a long boat going up river to Wind Cave via Penan settlement. Visit the settlement and observe the lifestyle of this tribe. Visit Wind Cave and explore the limestone formation of this unique eco system. Continue the journey by plank walk to Clearwater Cave where more interesting stone formation can be seen. Picnic lunch provided at Clearwater summer huts. After Lunch, Transfer to Kota Kinabalu (KK) from MULU (Own Arrangements / Not included in Package). On arrival transferred to Hotel in KK by our representative. Overnight stay in Hotel in KK.

DAY 08 – KOTA KINABALU

After breakfast at Hotel, A full day trip to Kinabalu National Park and Poring Hot Springs. Enjoy the vista of the jungle covered mountains and valleys as you proceed up to the base of South-East Asia's highest mountain. Near the base of Mt Kinabalu, you will find a local Tamu or market, where you will be able to stop to look at the variety of goods on sale. You will proceed on to the Springs where you will be able to take a "Canopy Walk" through the canopy of a rainforest (the canopy walk is generally closed for a few weeks in April for maintenance - check at time of booking) before returning to the hot baths which were built by the Japanese. If time permits, you may be able to enjoy a soak in one of the hot baths. At Kinabalu National Park World Heritage Site, visit the Education Centre and Mountain Garden, home to various species of the flowering rhododendrons, carnivorous pitcher plants and orchids. You will be taken on a guided walk through the botanical gardens at the park. (Lunch included). Return to Kota Kinabalu and Overnight stay in KK.

DAY 09 – TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN PARK

Breakfast at Hotel and Proceed to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, to spend your last day in Borneo. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the main jetty in KK. Transfer time about 20 minutes from the KK jetty to Gaya Island. Explore one of the 2 km jungle treks and learn about some of the unique medicinal plants, tropical hardwood trees, coastal vegetation, tropical dipterocarp rainforest and the ecology of the mangrove forest. After a cooked buffet lunch on one of the tropical islands, go "down below" and snorkel the warm waters of the South China Sea. Explore one, or several of the enchanting snorkelling sites found within the marine park. Swim alongside colourful marine-life, butterfly fish, parrot fish, cardinals and snappers. Relax, snorkel and free at leisure until your transfer across to the mainland marina at around 16.00 hrs, arriving back at your hotel around 16.30 hrs. Overnight stay at Hotel in KK.
